Dependant Pass

Overview

Issued to dependants of Kenyan citizens, permit holders, exempted persons, or permanent residents. It applies to spouses of the opposite sex, children under 21 years, and, in some cases, elderly parents, allowing them to legally reside in Kenya. Does not itself authorise education or employment.

Requirements

Proof of relationship to the principal (marriage or birth certificate) and evidence of sufficient income to support the dependant.

Documents

Signed Cover letter, passport photos, passport bio page, a copy of marriage certificate or birth certificate, whichever applies. Proof of sufficient and assured income to sustain self and dependant. A valid copy of permit for those applicants holding a work permit
