Foreign Driving Licence Conversion

Overview

Assistance converting a valid foreign driving licence to a Kenyan one through the NTSA. EMICK assists with the application; the actual approval and conversion is an NTSA function.

Requirements

A valid, unexpired foreign driving licence and a valid immigration status in Kenya.

Documents

Original and copy of foreign driving licence • Valid passport • Foreign National Certificate or Alien Card, where applicable • Valid immigration permit or pass, where applicable • Passport-size photograph(s), where required • English translation, if the foreign licence is not in English • Any additional documents required by NTSA
